Fellow Members of the King George TEA Party:

This is an addendum because I should have addressed one important topic of last night’s discussion that was significant but not relayed in the earlier e-mail: the Bezmenov video.  First, a link to the video itself:

A recent American Thinker article on this topic came out that is worth your review:

The points that I made last night focused on the fours phases, or steps, that Bezmenov cited in the video.  As you read the above and the below, ask yourself where YOU think America finds itself in this progression.  Here are a couple of links to articles that highlight those points:

There is a lot more information written about this one iconic interview conducted over three decades ago.  There is also a boat load written on the subject of ideological subversion, what the Russian’s called Active Measures, and how our American society is ripe for exploitation by these techniques.  I strongly urge you to perform your own exploration on this subject and those associated with this topic.  My personal research, and courses that I have attended on this subject, are why I have been so adamant in showcasing news events to highlight these efforts for you.  It is important that you, too, see these events for what they are - subversive activities designed to destroy America.

As always, I welcome your questions or comments.

We had a great turn-out last night for our monthly meeting.  The King George Republican Committee had some great speakers that provided insight into what they would do as Virginia’s Governor.  Everyone had an opportunity to ask questions, get them answered, and I thank the KGRC for arranging this opportunity.

We led off our meeting’s discussion with insight into how sparsely the Board of Supervisors meetings have been and how little citizen input they have received.
The outcome from the budget work sessions indicate that our taxes ARE going to be raised.  One of the discussion points was how much our taxes will be raised due to the School Board’s budget increase… even though all of our county’s students have not been brought back to full-time attendance.

There have been multiple studies that conclude that the online education they are being provided is inadequate and yet many teachers refuse to come back to the classrooms.  The COVID-19 risk to teachers is MUCH less than that for any cashier in any business within the county… and yet those cashiers still come to work every day… but the County’s School Board refuses to demand full attendance from their employees - the teachers.  The result is that our taxes are going up while the quality of education those tax monies “bought” is going down.

It is time that the School Board hears from We The People.  Toward that end, a School Board session will be selected and everyone will be invited to provide Citizen Comment input demanding that either our tax monies be better spent or those monies returned to our pockets.  More info to come.

Unfortunately, no one volunteered to take over chairmanship of the KGTP.  No one volunteered so there was no election to replace me as KGTP Chairman.  During the meeting’s discussion last night I outlined what WILL happen in a couple of months if my replacement is not identified:  I will have to turn in the keys to the American Legion Hall’s building, designate any remaining funds we have to go to the American Legion Post #89, and archive the KGTP e-mail list until someone someday decides to resurrect the KGTP.
This would be a travesty given how our membership is growing, how much more our government’s representatives need to hear from grassroots TEA Party organizations, and how regular meetings and e-mail correspondence keeps everyone informed about current events in our county, state, and nation.

I will continue to call for an election to be held during every monthly meeting until we find a replacement Chairman.  I do not want to lose what We The People have built since Rich Lorey started the KGTP in 2009.  After October, however, the future of the KGTP will be out of my hands.

Tonight’s KGTP Newsletter is going to be abbreviated as I have not had sufficient time to collect my usual ‘data dump’ of informative news.

We will hold our usual monthly meeting THIS Thursday 1 April at the American Legion Post #89 and this will be another joint meeting with the King George Republican Committee.  The KGRC will begin their meeting at 6:00 where three speakers will make presentations in their race for Virginia’s Governor: Amanda Chase, Sergio de la Pena, and Peter Doran.  This is another excellent opportunity for you to hear the presentations, ask questions, and become a very informed voter for the governor’s race.

Our meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 and feature KGTP members wishing to address the audience in preparation for our election that night for KGTP Chairman.  This is a great opportunity for someone to take the KGTP’s reins and lead our membership at a time that our nation needs our Conservative movement.  Please feel free to ping on me with your questions.

The remainder of the evening’s discussion will focus on discussing with our newly-elected KGTP Chairman what direction and what activities we should pursue.  Ensure to join us and have a hand in this decision!
